This is a lamp inspired by high-end, tube, stereo gear. Some of those very expensive tube amps and pre-amps are pure art. The vertical tubes and dimmer knob, in front, are all copper. They have been oxidized and hand rubbed to a dark bronze finish. They have a wax topcoat. The base consists of two pieces of different color Paperstone (a “green” product often used for counter and table tops). The paperstone is cut to size and then hand sanded with several progressing grits to a 1,000 grit finish. The Paperstone is then oiled, waxed, and polished to a reflective sheen. This lamp has five 25w, squirrel cage filament, vintage style, incandescent bulbs. They are controlled by a full range dimmer. It measures 10" wide x 7" deep x 8 " tall to the top of the center bulb.
