This floor lamp is one of the first lamps I created as I ventured into full time crafts work, about 12 years ago. I discovered this wonderful bronze screen-door screen and wanted to do something floral and kind of majestic. The “blooms” are very unpredictable and no two are ever exactly the same. The tubing is a lightly oxidized copper. The rings were soldered in place and then polished. The two tier base is fabricated from Paperstone. The lamp features a full range dimmer, on the back, near the top of the lower pole section. I have created several versions of this lamp in floor, table, and ceiling models. It stands 76" tall x 20" in diameter at the widest point of the bloom.
