This shade is more slumped and fused glass from the Mesolini Glass Studio. I love working with them. The glass is beautiful and looks even better, the closer you get to it. Clear glass strings have been fused onto the surface of the shade. The iridescent feature of the glass adds even more character to the shade.

I again chose copper as my material for most of the metal parts of the lamp. I worked with a new, more mottled, patina that resulted from many overlapping applications of the chemistry. This finish was a little more lively than some of my others. The copper was then given several coats of matte clear lacquer. Wax was applied over the lacquer. The base is two elm discs with an ebony stain. There is a thin, black, Paperstone disc sandwiched between them. The lamp features a full range dimmer with the knob on the back of the pole. The cord is brown, twisted, nylon. The lamp was approximately 23" tall with a 12" diameter shade.
